Political Recognition

Receiving my first letter in response to my political trailblazing brought on a whirlwind of emotions. I used my pop's company as the return address without asking. He wasn't happy. I come from a reserved, republican, southern family so what I have chosen for an occupation isn't exactly what anyone had envisioned for me. In fact, it's labeled as embarrassing.

Disapproval from him made me cry. Yes, I opened my first letter in tears. My clouded vision read this, "Your letter. Don't piss me off!" I was hyperventilating after that. The last thing that I ever want to do is piss anyone off, especially a superior.

The letter was meant to lighten the spirits of the Louisiana government. With it being election season, I thought that everyone deserved a good laugh. I'm a jokester at heart.

It was later that I realized that the letter said something completely different. It said, "Your letter didn't piss me off." Wow, I felt like a real emotional dumbass. The speed over formality sticker gave me a nice chuckle too.

For anyone wondering which I prefer, the answer is both. However, speed cannot ever be obtained without proper formality. I haven't been completely uprooted from my southern upbringing. To find out the latest on Stripper News, click here:
