Miley Cyrus has a new hit; Flowers. She can buy her own flowers and do all kinds of romantic things for herself and by herself, but why so many years later is she singing about it if she isn’t still empty and bothered?
Call it healing, call it what you will, but what really caught my attention recently is Lady Gaga’s song “Bloody Mary” from 2011 becoming a 2023 smash; debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 after going viral as part of a trend associated with Netflix’s hit show Wednesday.
This whole love thing is just like a run on sentence, honestly. I feel like that’s something Wednesday Adams would say.
“I can hold my own hand.
Yeah, I can love me better than you can.”
Are these words true or are they a desperate grab for Miley to pull herself up from drowning in the waters of Malibu?
Lady Gaga has a point. After being scorned in love, you are never the same again. Innocence is lost; no matter what you’re capable of buying yourself.
“We are not just art for Michelangelo to carve. He can't rewrite the aggro of my furied heart”
And so, I danced.
Xoxo, Yetti
This is bloody brilliant
